One part of me wanted to cry while the other part wanted to laugh uncontrollably. Crazy, I know. She didn't have an answer as to why she did it. (Which upset me even more.) In a moment of frustration, I called my mom to vent and she quickly reminded me, that I too, decided to give myself my first haircut.
So I guess its true, history repeats itself, lol!

Parents, you are not alone. So if you find yourself in a similar situation there are a few things you can do.
1. Access the damage and see how much of the hair can be salvaged. In my case, she took out a lot of her temple. So it was bang life for us!
2. Decide if you can fix or you need a professional. I'm very picky when it comes to my children's hair so I opt to fix things myself. If you're not brave enough check out a local Walmart, they usually offer haircuts for children for under $12.
3. Choose hairstyles wisely! Sure we know it's their fault but you don't want your child looking completely crazy!
