Amazon Prime for EBT and Medicaid Recipients!!!!

Did you know that Amazon now offers Amazon Prime for its EBT/SNAP recipient customers or Mediciad? While doing my usual scroll on Amazon I discovered this. I have Amazon Prime and LOVE IT! It's changed my life, no longer do I go to the store and buy things I don't need. It allows me to stick to my budget and if I can't buy it right now I add it to my "save for later" list and boom when I'm ready to purchase I can. It also helped with purchasing textbooks. Amazon has a rental program available at a fraction of the cost than purchasing the books!

*Disclaimer, I am not being paid by Amazon to write this post. I really love and use Amazon Prime.

What is Amazon Prime?
Amazon Prime is a monthly/yearly membership that offers you a variety of services. Currently, you can pay $99/year or $12.99/month. The membership price will increase by $20 (yearly) effective May 11, 2018.

Why should I join Amazon Prime?

Do you already shop at Amazon? If so, this a great perk. I was resistant too until I saw their 30-day free trial and my cousin was constantly getting packages and telling me how much it changed her life. So I gave it a try.

Not only that but they offer discounts to help you afford the membership. Students pay $49/year and now if you receive EBT benefits you pay $5.99/mo and that's a steal!

Being a Prime Member gives you two-day free shipping on eligible items within the US! FREE same day shipping for eligible zip codes. Watch movies online, from your smartphone or tablet. Read books through their FREE Kindle App and free up space on your phone through Prime Photos and let's not forget music! It's similar to Pandora or Spotify but they don't get the music as quickly.
